Alhamdulillah.. Harith is growing well and come next month he will start on his first solid food. Thinking of mashing up avocado mix with Mommy's goodies for his first taste of solid. Nyummy 
I remember starting Amirul with his first solid at the age 4 months since he had shown interest in other people's food. But then, when I took him for his checkup, his paed strongly advised me to stop with the solids until he reached his 6th month. Amirul should just continue with Mommy's goodies exclusively up to 6 months before being fed with solid food. Aye aye captain! Did just that and nasib baik A took it well  . That's why this time around, the things I did the first time around with A, I practice it with H since everything turned out well with A 
H loves tummy time now but he's not that strong yet when sitting down. I have to prop lotsa pillows behind him so that he's comfortable. He can focus far away objects and is able to recognise other people other than Mommy, Abah and Big Bro.
Judging by the piccas here, hubs and I pun terkejut  by our boy's physical development! Of course we see him everyday... but everyday, we are amazed... Alhamdulillah... sihat wal'afiat. A was also tembam (but not at par with H) but slowly susut once he can walk and run around...  . So might as well snap lotsa pics now before ALL those cute baby fat melt away.....

Mommy had a few days off from work and spent it well with the lil kiddos considering that Mommy will embark in her new job soon. The first day was spent along with MIL while the next day, had a lovely meet with an old friend, Dot and her adorable son, Izzat

Kidzsports BSC closing down!

Yep, it's closing down. Amirul has been a loyal member since he was 6 months old . From the time he couldn't crawl till he blossomed into a handsome young tyke (a chatterbox I might add). I'm not sure why they are closing it down  but us, parents have the choice of continuing the membership with the branch in OU or GE Mall. Hubs and I have not decided yet but we have to soon since we need to confirm our membership status by this week. Ayoo 
So I captured some pics from his last Lil Rompers class, playing with his friends and teacher, the sweet Aunt Sathya. Gee, I'm gona miss these sessions with the other mommies.
Hopefully hubs and I get to find a suitable kindie for Amirul since he'll be 3 come July

How time flies..
Harith is reaching the 5 month mark while Amirul is steadily going into the 'terrible 3's'!
How I wish I could take care of them 24-7. I hope they understand that Mommy and Abah have to work to put food on the table and to ensure that they ( as well as their future adiks... ) will be able to live comfortably without no worries at all.

Alhamdulillah... I'm satisfied with the result altho the tabletop has yet to be installed but I'm sure it'd be fabulous. Everything should be complete by end of the week..

The Sleeping Series

I love to look at them sleep. So peaceful and calm. If I'm lucky, I get to see them move their fingers a little.. twitch their eyes.. stretch their limbs in their own cute lil ways.. Sometimes, Amirul would call out 'Mommy' or 'Abah' and drift back to sleep. As though he was in a dream and we were in it.
I especially love to look at Harith pouting his lips, stretching his legs and wriggling about. As I lay him down next to me, he'd measure up close to my chest. But after awhile, somehow, he would be near my waist. I guess all those stretching sent him that far...
My parents say the best time to give them advices is when they are half asleep. It would actually sink in. So, I try my best to 'pesan' to my kids at this time. Become a good Muslim, be successful when they grow up, never disregard the elderly, be sure to look after us when we grow old...etc
Insya'allah, I pray that they will be successful in whatever they do and jadi anak yang soleh..

I was organising this for so long and finally it happened. Thanks you guys for coming altho not everyone showed up due to work commitments. The gossips were just what we needed that night.
To Grace and Meng Hong.. congratulations again! Looking forward to the fairytale wedding this November (I definitely need to get a new outfit for the occassion).
Cheok Huong, what can I say... ENJOY the life man! You deserve it! We salute you for being the last man standing
Poh Wah, I kid you not. U definitely have a resemblance to Brooke Davis (u know what I mean).
Lastly, I thank you my kids for being soo well behaved (Meng Hong was suprised, ay Grace?). And hubs for making the time to accompany me and meet my friends (well, they r ur friends too).
We shall do this food bit again ok people?

The Zefferin household would like to wish a HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY (altho at this point of time, a belated one) to Kak Fara (my SIL)  May all your hopes and dreams come true.
Yeah, our bad for not remembering your birthday but hey, we are just human. We tend to forget things that matters to us. We hoped that your special day was filled with much love, joy and laughter  (So, what did hubs get ya? )
