Jacob's wedding reception @ MBSA

A friend of ours from college invited us for his wedding reception. One of hubs best friend. We were surprised yet happy that FINALLY he found someone he could actually spend his life with  . Not a playa in nature but he does had his fair share with the opposite sex. Some we've met and some we've only heard of. Anyways, the event was beautiful with a touch of gold everywhere. His parents looked proud and it was really nice to see them again cos it's been ages since we've been to their house. His older sisters looked splendid and the youngest brother and sister were all grown up.. My, my how time flies.
So for the happy couple, insya'alllah may the both of you enjoy your lives together sehingga ke anak cucu

Cousin Trisya's 3rd birthday party

Amirul's older cousin, Trisya turned 3 early June and her parents organised a party for her at their home in Subang. Before that, Amirul attended his Lil Walkers @ BSC. He really loves them obstacle courses. Not much into the sing-along session though as he will go on the slide, jump on the trampoline, golek2 on the floor and the list goes on. 3/4 of the kids consist of girls so I guess that's why he rebels 
Off we went to Subang for the party but we were early. While waiting, Amirul had ice cream (much to my dismay- but he can just eat bout anything 0) .
Party started at 3pm. Stream of guests came gradually. Lotsa kids...lotsa parents... Being preggy and all, I had my fair share of food..one after another... that's why I love being preggie  . Tho baby has started to kick mommy endlessly  . So kenalah makan extra sikit
We stayed on till 5pm... had to go back and continue revising (yea, ada xm the next day  ). Sheesh..
As soon as we got back, the Zefferins were exhausted! Slept for a sec to recharge and back to our usual chores/work/tv watching...bla bla...

Abah's 29th birthday yesterday but we could only celebrate it the next day as we had to balik Melaka for a cousin's wedding. Congratulations Hajar!
I treated hubs dinner at Victoria Station since I had a craving for a juicy steak (ribeye...nyums!  ). Mmm... sedapnya. Hubs had the same thing while Amirul had his share of fries and hotdogs.
Dearest hubby, happy birthday and I love you dearly. Mm, your present is on the way..

Bob the Builder has always been Amirul's favourite character  . We even managed to pull off a Bob the Builder theme for his 1st birthday. He has 2 of the singing Bob toy, the soft toy, the toolbox complete with the construction hat. You name it.. he has em all.
When we found out that Bob would make an appearance at the Mummy & Me Expo in Mid Valley, we brought him there for the meet the fan session. He was delighted indeed . Chanting Bob! Bob! the minute he saw the infamous character. We stopped Bob in his tracks so that we could take a picture with him (much to the dismay of his minder ) .
Then, we read that Bob would be in Mid Valley again during the school hols break. We gambled our way into Mid Valley on a Sunday and hoped to catch a glimpse of Bob. Thank God that he was to make an appearance and it would be his last. Unfortunately, Bob was late, I mean really late. We had a wedding to go to and there's no way we'll be on time! 
So, we killed time by window shopping, eat, window shopping again. We got tired of it so we decided to just wait at the 'stage' area for Bob to show up. Suddenly, the Bob theme song was on air and everyone (the kids and their parents ) went berserk! Yet, there was no Bob in sight. The from afar, I saw the yellow hat, then the chequered shirt. I quickly took the camera and try to find Bob and snap! Heheh, I got a close up picture  . Amirul and hubs were standing by at the stage area, waiting for Bob. They sang and dance. Amirul had fun. Yey!! Mission accomplished!
Managed to grab more pics towards the end and Amirul numerously said bye bye to Bob! Now if only I could borrow Bob for a day or two or at least the costume .

Mother's Day lunch

|
Nothing fancy shmancy... Just a simple yet fulfilling lunch at Italiannies. Our 2nd trip here. The first was on the night of Christmas Eve. However, we were a lil disappointed with the limited menu. We decided to give it a go this time. Ayooo.. food was good but the portion was huge!  
Thank you honey and lil boo for making this Mother's Day a memorable experience

A continuation to my mom's birthday celebration. This time, it was my big bro's plan of splurging on dinner for Mak. The first was sponsored by my darling hubs . Paya Serai has always, to me, given excellent service as well as catered amazing food, especially from the buffet table. However, all of us orderd ala carte. As for myself, since dah terlalu lapar (thanks to the 'extra' being I need to accomodate), indulged in cream caramel (wah,wah.. gave the excuse that it was for Amirul ), then Char Kuay Teow, Tom Yam Gung and a glass of fresh watermelon juice (NYUMS!!! ). Ayoo, sampai my tummy dah terlampau stretch! 
Lil Amirul pulak could not sit still. Played peekaboo among the tables and chairs, buat 'tawaf ' around our table, sang his favourite 'national anthem' (courtesy of my Dad- see, ever since Amirul was a baby, Abah loved to sing this particular song; which he invented himself, mind you, to Amirul until it became a routine for Amirul to sing it everytime he is with his Atuk . Pretty sweet laa, actually) and counting our shoes by squatting at the end of our table  
Anyway...... the dinner was good and we hope to have more of this family dinner in the future...

3 siblings at one go. Was a simple yet lovely ceremony. We were dressed to the the theme colour. I'm a freak at that. Kalau ada theme... must go along with it.
Dressed Amirul in his jubah and thank god that it could still fit him since I bought it last February. For 1 year old pulak tu. Anyways, wore him his jeans as well in case he gets really lasak and starts to flash to other guests
