Amirul's first Genting trip
|
|
We thought it would be fun taking Amirul for a trip to Genting. Baba Tok and Mama Tok tagged along. At least they could look after the lil dude while Mommy and Abah go on all the rides. Heheheh  . Atuk and Nenek Bangsar could not make it as they had to attend a wedding that night. Maybe next time.
Although Amirul was oblivious with his surroundings, I could tell that he had 'fun' with the change of scenery and the cold weather  .
We would definitely bring Amirul back to Genting once he learns how to walk and at least appreciate the kiddie games

Congratulations my dearest Dot. Didn't think you'd get hitched ay? We were happy to witness the reception eventho I had food poisoning on that day (and your whole family thought I was pregnant, again! Sheesh....) Thanks for the hospitality. Both bride and groom looked radiant and very happy.

|
Had dinner in Pak Lang and Mak Lang's home at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. The whole of Haron clan was there. Was great meeting up with everyone especially for Amirul who gets to meet his relatives. Amirul spent most of his time in his trusted Maxi Cosi with the occassional cuddles and kisses from his grand aunties and uncles, aunties and uncles, cousins and of course Mommy and Abah.

Raya 2005 @ 249 Bangsar

First raya for the lil guy at 3 months. Decided not to buy him a baju melayu as it would be a waste since he won't be able to run around in it. Definitely will get him a matching one with his dad for next year's raya. Amirul.. what a great addition to the Rahim family

Nurul & Julie's weddings

AM : Attended Nurul's (hubs cousin) wedding in her parents home in Banting. It's themed purple. Amirul was well behaved and slept almost throughout the event.
PM : Drove off to KJ for Julie & Khair's wedding. They were my classmates in Banting. Yep, just like hubby and me, they met in college. Didn't get to meet up with the rest of our friends as we came pretty late. Thank God, there were still some food left
Congratulations u guys... Semoga berkekalan.
(Since this is a backdated entry, Nurul has 2 boys now. The youngest was born just 2 months ago . Iman, the eldest is 1++)

I was up and about helping mom with what I could but ended up getting showers of 'Don't do this, don't do that... nanti bentan!.... Bla..bla.... Mind you, mom didn't say anything but my darling aunties had alot to say... Okay, okay...you guys makan garam dulu... RESPECT!!

Post jaundice scare

Thought of sharing these pix of Amirul few days after he was discharged from the hospital.
We stayed in DSH for 2 nights right after he as born. Amirul was fine when we brought him home but then his bilirubin count shot up and had to be admitted for a few days. I was shattered of course. However, with pure determination, I went to the hospital a few times in a day to breastfeed him (I didn't want my son to be fed with formula). Since DSH was all hyped about breastfeeding, the nurses were very encouraging. When I couldn't attend to Amirul especially late at night, they encouraged me to express my milk(That's how I fell in love with Spectra ) so that they could feed him. I was soo relieved and grateful when his bilirubin count dropped to a normal level cos I get to bring him home and go on with our lives.
However, just for precaution sake, his Atuk & Nenek diligently brought him out in the mornings to 'jemur' him under the sun. There were times when Mom & Dad had some 'accidents' with their cucu when they were accidentally peed on. Heeheee.. Must be hilarious! . Managed to capture these cute photos of him  . Macam Zoro pun ada.. I still keep those eye bandages of his . Comel in size!
Alhamdulillah all is well after a few days and I guess I'll be more prepared with his future adik(s) when the time comes...

(But it's subsiding). It's like a season for that. His cousins fell sick too. Insyaallah, I hope he'll up and about soon.
